More than a call to action: the label for Wallonia's creative digital community.

The region is home to countless creative digital talents, who make up the biodiversity of an effervescent sector whose liveliness is expressed in the number of events, companies, initiatives, networks and places that stimulate entrepreneurship and creativity.
Digital Creativity.
Digital creativity is the use of digital technologies to create businesses, artistic works, multimedia content, interactive experiences and innovative solutions. Creative coding, music and audiovisual creation, visual art with generative AI, design and development of video games, websites, mobile applications, innovation in graphic design, and much more.
wake! is the rallying cry of the players in a very special ecosystem, a real lever for the economic development of Wallonia, which moves the territory from our cities, whether they are "European Capital of Culture", "Unesco Creative City", or the capital of the European Union.
From the KIKK festival in Namur to Wallifornia music tech and the Grand Poste, the heart of Liège's creative district, from the urban video gaming hubs driven by Walga to Quai 10 and Mediafaktory in Charleroi, from Click in Mons to the XR4Europe hub in Liège with its Stereopsia festival in Brussels and its XR4Heritage culture track: a non-exhaustive list of players and platforms for expression for Walloon digital creators across the territory.
KIKK, Digital Wallonia "CCI reference player”
On behalf of Digital Wallonia (Agence du numérique), KIKK is becoming the Walloon reference for the digital creativity sector and is pursuing these 4 objectives:
building and driving the wake! ecosystem
monitor trends in the sector and showcase our region's talent
promote Walloon talent internationally
develop our digital creativity industry
Since 2011, KIKK has been leading, federating and playing an important role in promoting digital culture in Wallonia, offering a space for inspiration, learning and discovery for all those involved in the CCI. The activities it has developed since its creation have given it national and international recognition and renown, particularly through TRAKK (Namur's creative hub), the Pavillon Numérique and the KIKK Festival, which is now regarded in Belgium and internationally as a major event for the digital CCI sector.

As part of its role as a key player, KIKK has worked with the local ICC ecosystem to produce a reference work for the sector. The white paper (in French)

develops a vision: Creative Tech Valley, boosting competitiveness in Wallonia
proposes an action plan with 10 recommendations to turn this vision into reality.
